Baby Smuffs is an innovative company that has created sound dampening headbands. Our design has both a utility and design patent. Integrated into our baby headbands is a silicone piece that creates a cupping around the ear and incorporates a dense foam core. This provides a low profile and comfortable option for newborns and toddlers rather than the oversized and uncomfortable hard style earmuffs.
Noise reduction is 12 dB (4K/8K Hz). Compared to other ratings: 6-7 dB = Light Reduction; 12 dB = Moderate Reduction; 20-30 dB = Strong / Heavy -Duty Protection.
